The Art. 2000 side table is a high-quality Italian reproduction inspired by the iconic Tulip collection designed by Eero Saarinen in the 1950s. Known for its sculptural single pedestal and clean, modern form, Saarinen’s goal was to eliminate the “slum of legs” beneath traditional tables. This version honours that vision while offering updated materials and customisable options to suit contemporary interiors.
Entirely made in Italy, the Art. 2000 table features an elegant round or oval top supported by a central pedestal base, creating a visually light yet stable profile. Its compact size and timeless design make it perfect for bedrooms, lounges, reading corners, and refined hospitality spaces.
Customisable Top Options
This table features a 20 mm thick top (height 52 cm) available in a wide range of premium finishes:

Liquid Laminate (25 mm) – Lacquered MDF in white, black, or any RAL colour. Semi-opaque, scratch-resistant surface with reduced liquid absorption.

Solid Oak (24 mm) – Natural or lacquered wood tones with open-pore varnish that preserves the grain; interlocking planks ensure long-term stability.

Natural Marble (20 mm) – Carrara, Calacatta, Marquinia, Emperador and more, in matt or gloss. Water-repellent treatment slows liquid absorption while retaining a natural look.
