These Terms of Service govern the use of the website and the purchase of products from My Italian Living. By placing an order, the customer agrees to the following terms.

2. PRODUCTS AND CUSTOM ORDERS
Many of the products offered are made-to-order or customised items, manufactured according to the customer’s specifications.
Images displayed on the website or in marketing materials are illustrative only. Variations in colour, grain, texture, or finish may occur due to manufacturing processes, natural materials, or lighting conditions.
Dimensions provided are approximate and may vary within normal production tolerances.
3. QUOTATIONS AND ORDERS
All quotations are valid for 14 days, unless otherwise stated.
An order is considered confirmed only after:
1. Written confirmation from the customer
2. Receipt of the required deposit
Once confirmed, the order enters production and cannot be cancelled, except where agreed in writing.
4. DEPOSITS AND PAYMENTS
Orders normally require a 60% deposit of the total order value.
The remaining balance must be paid before or on the day of delivery, unless otherwise agreed.
Production will begin only after the deposit has been received.
Failure to pay the remaining balance may delay delivery.
5. MANUFACTURING AND LEAD TIMES
Most products are manufactured in Italy and require production time.
Typical lead times range from 6 to 12 weeks, depending on the product.
Lead times are estimates and may vary due to production schedules, holidays, or logistics conditions.
6. DELIVERY
Delivery services normally include kerbside delivery, unless otherwise specified.
Installation services are carried out by independent contractors, not employees of My Italian Living.
Customers are responsible for ensuring:
1. Adequate access to the property
2. Suitable space for delivery
3. Appropriate wall or floor conditions for installation
4. Additional delivery or access costs may apply if these conditions are not met
7. INSTALLATION
Where applicable, installation is performed by third-party fitters.
My Italian Living cannot be held responsible for:
1. Structural wall conditions
2. Electrical preparation
3. Plumbing preparation
4. Incorrect installation performed by third parties not arranged by the company
Customers must ensure that the installation environment is suitable.
8. INSPECTION AND ACCEPTANCE
Customers must inspect the goods at the time of delivery.
Any visible damage must be reported within 48 hours, supported by photographs.
Claims reported after installation may be subject to review.
9. RETURNS AND CANCELLATION
Because most products are custom-made, returns are generally not accepted.
Returns may be accepted only in the following cases:
1. Manufacturing defects
2. Confirmed production errors
Refunds or replacements will be handled in accordance with applicable consumer law.
10. WARRANTY
Products are covered by the manufacturer’s warranty against manufacturing defects.
The warranty does not cover:
1. Normal wear and tear
2. Misuse or improper installation
3. Damage caused during self-installation
4. Environmental conditions such as humidity, heat, or sunlight exposure
11. LIABILITY
My Italian Living’s liability is limited to the value of the purchased product.
The company is not liable for:
1. Indirect damages
2. Loss of profits
3. Installation errors by third parties
4. Structural issues within the customer’s property
12. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
All website content, including images, text, designs, and branding, is protected by intellectual property laws.
Reproduction or distribution without written permission is prohibited.
13. PRIVACY
Personal information is handled in accordance with the company’s Privacy Policy.
14. GOVERNING LAW
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
Any disputes shall be resolved under the jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
