The Extendable Round Tulip Dining Table Ø93/138, Ø100/145, Ø107/152 cm is designed for compact dining spaces that need occasional additional seating. Made in Italy, it transforms from a round table into an oval table, providing more surface space for guests without requiring a permanently larger footprint.

Inspired by Eero Saarinen’s iconic Tulip design, the central pedestal maximises legroom and keeps the seating area free from corner legs. The table is available with either a Liquid Laminate or Solid Oak top, with customisable finishes and base colours.

Customisable Top Options

  • Liquid Laminate (25 mm) – Lacquered MDF available in white, black, grey or any custom RAL/NCS colour. Glass microspheres within the semi-opaque finish improve scratch resistance and reduce liquid absorption, making the surface practical for everyday dining.
  • Solid Oak (24 mm) – Available in natural, moka, black or grey oak tones, including heat-treated finishes. The open-pore lacquer preserves the visible grain and natural texture of the wood while providing lasting protection.

Matching Extension Leaf

The central extension leaf is produced to match the selected tabletop, maintaining a consistent appearance when the table is open.

  • Liquid Laminate Version – MDF extension leaf finished in matching Liquid Laminate.
  • Solid Oak Version – Solid oak extension leaf finished to match the tabletop.

Sculptural Pedestal Base

The cast aluminium pedestal base is reinforced with an internal cast-iron ballast for stability. Its central position provides greater freedom when arranging chairs around the table.
