The Extendable Round Tulip Dining Table by CTS Design is an Italian-made interpretation of Eero Saarinen's iconic 1956 Tulip collection, combining timeless design with everyday practicality. Featuring an innovative extension mechanism, the table effortlessly transforms from a compact round table into a spacious oval dining table while maintaining the clean, sculptural silhouette of the original pedestal design.

Expertly made in Italy, the Art. 2001 collection is available in three extendable sizes: Ø93/138 cm, Ø100/145 cm and Ø107/152 cm. Choose from premium ceramic surfaces by Dekton, Laminam or Florim, the central extension leaf is manufactured from lacquered MDF in a matching colour rather than ceramic. This solution is more practical for everyday use and significantly reduces the risk of damage. Ceramic is an extremely hard material but can chip or crack if the edges come into contact during opening, closing, or handling of the extension leaf. The colour-matched MDF leaf provides a coordinated appearance while ensuring smooth operation, greater durability, and easier everyday use, and a heavy-duty cast aluminium pedestal base for exceptional durability, generous legroom and contemporary Italian style.
