The CTS Design Fully Upholstered Swivel Armchair is a replica inspired by Eero Saarinen’s iconic 1956 Tulip chair design. Its curved, fully upholstered shell, integrated armrests and pedestal base bring a familiar mid-century silhouette to dining rooms, offices and hospitality interiors. This is a CTS Design product, not an original Saarinen chair.

Made in Italy, the chair has a moulded fibreglass shell with foam padding, fully upholstered in your choice of fabric, genuine leather or eco-leather. The upholstered shell and integrated armrests create a continuous, comfortable form.

The cast aluminium pedestal base is available in matt white, matt black, gloss white, gloss black or a custom RAL colour. Its weight-activated swivel mechanism operates when the chair is occupied. Upholstery and finishes can be selected to suit your space.
