The Oval Tulip Dining Table – 105, 120 or 140 cm – with a ceramic top (H. 74 cm) is an Italian-made interpretation of the iconic 1956 Saarinen pedestal design. Its oval silhouette softens the room, while the central sculptural base provides generous legroom and a clean, uncluttered appearance for modern kitchens, compact dining rooms and contemporary hospitality interiors.

Handcrafted in Italy by CTS Design, this model is available with high-performance ceramic surfaces from Dekton, Laminam and Florim. Resistant to heat, stains and everyday wear, the ceramic top offers a practical, low-maintenance solution for busy homes and commercial settings.

Customisable Ceramic Top Options

The 20 mm ceramic top is available in three material families:

  • Dekton (20 mm) – Ultra-compact surfaces engineered for durability. Available in Matte Pure White, Matte Absolute Black, Matte Travertine, Matte Arabescato Marble, Matte Calacatta Gold, Matte Carrara Statuario Marble, Matte Marquina Marble, Matte Calacatta Lincoln, Glossy Carrara Marble and Glossy Calacatta Marble Effect Ceramic.
  • Laminam Ceramic (20 mm) – Large-format porcelain slabs designed to reproduce marble and stone textures. Available in Marquina Marble Effect, Matte Beige Stone Effect, Matte Sahara Marble Effect, Opaque Veined Grey Stone Effect, Matte Calacatta Marble Effect, Matte Statuary Marble Effect, Matte Absolute White and Matte Absolute Black Ceramic.
  • Florim Ceramic (20 mm) – High-definition ceramic slabs with decorative patterns and through-body veining. Available in Matt or Gloss Absolute White, Calacatta Marble Effect and Statuary Marble Effect Ceramic.

All ceramic options are stain-resistant, scratch-resistant, heat-resistant, UV-resistant and non-porous, making them easy to maintain and suitable for everyday use.

Sculptural Pedestal Base

The table rests on a round cast-aluminium pedestal base with an internal ballast for stability. Available finishes include:

  • Gloss White or Matt White
  • Gloss Black or Matt Black
  • Matt Grey
  • Custom RAL/NCS colours on request
