The Oval Tulip Dining Table – 160, 169, 179, 180 cm (H. 74 cm) is an Italian-made interpretation of the iconic 1956 Saarinen pedestal design. Its elongated oval top improves circulation around the table, while the central pedestal creates a clean silhouette and generous legroom for dining rooms, open-plan interiors and contract settings.

Handcrafted in Italy by CTS Design (Art. 2002), this model is available in five sizes between 160 and 180 cm. Choose a colour-customisable liquid laminate top for a clean contemporary finish or solid oak for a warmer, more tactile appearance.

Customisable Top Options

The oval top is available in two material families:

  • Liquid Laminate (25 mm) – A 25 mm MDF top finished with semi-opaque liquid laminate. Glass microspheres within the finish improve surface hardness, scratch resistance and resistance to liquid absorption. Available in white, black or any custom RAL/NCS colour.
  • Solid Oak Wood (24 mm) – A 24 mm solid oak top with an open-pore, water-based varnish that preserves the natural grain and texture. Available in natural oak, light walnut, dark walnut, black, palisander, cherry and moka oak.
