The Oval Tulip Dining Table – 160, 169, 179, 180 cm with a Natural or Polyester Marble Top (H. 74 cm) is an Italian-made interpretation of Eero Saarinen’s iconic 1956 Tulip collection. Its oval silhouette and sculptural pedestal base make it well suited to spacious dining rooms, open-plan interiors and refined hospitality settings.

Handcrafted in Italy by CTS Design (Art. 2002), this model is available in five sizes from 160 to 180 cm. Choose from premium natural marbles for distinctive veining and character, or polyester-coated marble for reduced porosity and improved resistance to stains.

Premium Marble Top Options

The 20 mm marble top is available in two finish families:

  • Natural Marble (20 mm) – A selection of premium stones including Carrara, Carrara Statuarietto, Marquinia, Arabescato Vagli, Calacatta Gold, Dark Emperador and Verde Alpi. Each slab is resin-reinforced, meshed for stability and treated with a water-repellent impregnator, while polished finishes also receive a protective wax treatment.
  • Polyester Marble (20 mm) – Genuine marble sealed with a transparent polyester lacquer, available in matt or gloss. This finish reduces porosity, improves stain resistance and provides a smoother, more uniform surface while preserving the character of natural stone.

Sculptural Pedestal Base

The table features a cast aluminium pedestal base reinforced with an internal cast-iron ballast for stability. Available finishes include:

  • Gloss White or Matt White
  • Gloss Black or Matt Black
  • Matt Grey
  • Custom RAL/NCS colours on request
