The Large Oval Tulip Dining Table 199, 219, 224, 235 and 244 cm – Natural or Polyester Marble Top (H. 74 cm) is an Italian-made interpretation of Eero Saarinen’s iconic 1956 Tulip collection. Its elongated oval top and sculptural pedestal base make it well suited to spacious dining rooms, open-plan interiors, executive boardrooms and hospitality settings.

Handcrafted in Italy by CTS Design, this Art. 2002 model is available in five generous sizes from 199 cm to 244 cm. Choose from natural marble for distinctive veining and character, or polyester-coated marble for reduced porosity and improved resistance to stains and liquids.

Customisable Top Options

The 20 mm marble top is available in two finish families:

  • Natural Marble (20 mm) – Available in Carrara, Carrara Statuarietto, Marquinia, Arabescato Vagli, Calacatta Gold, Dark Emperador and Verde Alpi. Each slab displays natural variations in colour and veining.
  • Polyester Marble (20 mm) – Genuine marble sealed with a transparent polyester lacquer to reduce porosity and improve resistance to stains and liquids. Available in Carrara, Marquinia, Calacatta, Arabescato, Emperador, Alpi Green and Guatemala Green in matt or gloss finishes. Each slab is resin-treated, mesh-backed for stability and finished with a water-repellent treatment, with wax polishing applied to gloss versions.

Sculptural Pedestal Base

The table features a cast-aluminium pedestal base reinforced with an internal cast-iron ballast for stability across the larger tabletop sizes. Available finishes include:

  • Gloss White or Matt White
  • Gloss Black or Matt Black
  • Matt Grey
  • Custom RAL/NCS colours on request
