The Large Oval Tulip Dining Table (199–244 cm) – Ceramic Top (H. 74 cm) is an Italian-made interpretation of Eero Saarinen’s iconic 1956 Tulip collection. Its elongated oval profile and sculptural pedestal base make it well suited to open-plan interiors, generous dining areas, executive spaces and hospitality settings.

Handcrafted in Italy by CTS Design, this Art. 2002 model is available with ceramic surfaces from Dekton, Laminam and Florim. These finishes recreate the appearance of natural stone while offering the durability and easy maintenance required for residential and commercial use.

Premium Ceramic Top Options

The 20 mm oval top is available in three ceramic finish families:

  • Dekton Ceramic (20 mm) – An ultra-compact surface with strong resistance to scratches, stains, heat and UV exposure, suitable for indoor and covered outdoor use.
  • Laminam Ceramic (20 mm) – Italian ceramic available in refined stone and marble-effect finishes, with excellent resistance to heat, moisture and daily wear.
  • Florim Ceramic (20 mm) – Low-porosity ceramic surfaces that reproduce the appearance of natural stone while remaining durable and easy to maintain.

All ceramic options are scratch-resistant, stain-resistant, heat-resistant, UV-stable and non-porous, making them practical for frequent use and easy to clean.

Sculptural Pedestal Base

The table features a cast aluminium pedestal base reinforced with an internal cast-iron ballast for stability across the larger tabletop sizes. Available finishes include:

  • Gloss White or Matt White
  • Gloss Black or Matt Black
  • Matt Grey
  • Custom RAL/NCS colours on request
